hi all, im looking for the legal mesurement for a nose cone past the front tyre's have looked for it for days and can not see were it say's the maximum lenght the nose cone must be at the front(obvisously) of a kart.
reason is we are fitting a new nose cone and it is a couple on inches longer than my other and i want to make sure it is fitted legal. Smiley

The measurements concerning this you will find in the rule book are.

1/ Overall length of the kart.
2/ Maximum fairing height
3/ Minimum fairing height.
4/ Distance from the steering wheel.

It also must fit within the 2 templates as shown in the rule book.

And of course with the new rules the top of the nosecone must be a minimum height off the ground PLUS no more than 75mm above the steering wheel.  That sort of locks in the steering wheel height now to the nosecone  ....  dumb way of doing things this is.
